Foster Care Support

Foster and kinship parents are vital, and we know it's hard. Our wraparound support is designed to lighten your load, caring for you as you care for children.

This program is for families in Washington, DC who are caring for the children of family members and friends or caring for children in foster care.

While we are a Christian-based organization, families of all beliefs are welcome, and there is no requirement to engage in any religious activity while participating.

What We Offer

  • Tabitha’s Closet

A resource closet with clothes, shoes, diapers, hygiene items, bedding, toys, and other basics for kids. Kinship and foster families can request supplies for the children in their care each month.

  • Kids Day Out

Group childcare events that give kids a fun morning or evening out and caregivers an opportunity to rest, run errands, or do whatever they like. These regularly scheduled events last four hours each.

  • Workshops

A combination of virtual and in-person workshops covering a variety of topics to help you care for the children in your home. Most workshops are approved for licensure credit through the DC Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA).

  • Family Fun Days
