In 2013, DC127 set out on a great call: to ensure that every child in the District has a permanent, safe, and loving home.
And today, our mission remains to strengthen and stabilize families impacted by the foster care system in Washington, DC, by mobilizing the Church to provide wraparound support.
For the past 12 years, this undertaking grew from an idea to a network of 30 churches, who annually serve 110+ families with over 200 volunteers. With your commitment, we can do much more!
On November 6th, we will be raising $50,000 in 24 hours to expand church engagement and grow our programs in Washington, DC. Your financial partnership will recruit more foster homes, train more volunteers, and provide tangible resources to more families, leading to safety and stability for children.
